Hi Folks,

Here’s an example of a self-made entrepreneur using the internet to raise capital for his business.  The Park’s Finest is a great story of local Rampart Area kids who decided to start a business and service the community in these tumultuous economic times.  First starting as a catering service for their unique brand of BBQ, they are now in gear to open up their local Los Angeles eatery.  We all look forward to being patrons in the new space!

In the meantime, visit their capital fundraising campaign to further help support local business.  BUY PINOY!

Set for the same day of Make It Funky. I know. But great things happen in the City of Los Angeles. Maybe you can support both by going to Make it Funky in Chinatown earlier in the day and then head over to Little Tokyo to close out your July 31st summer night?

Tuesday Night Cafe is LA’s longest running free arts showcase, completely running on the love of the community. No grants and no corporate funding. For 12 years, they have been showcasing the nation’s talented artists – spoken word, dance, theater, improv, comedy, visual art, film, cuisine- you name it, TNC showcased them.

But it’s that time of year where they have to raise funds in order to keep going for another 12 years.

Please come out and support the arts, our people, and the community but attending this outdoor concert and arts party!

Pinoy artists involved are:
-Harlem Lee (winner of 2007 show Fame)
- Mister Cookie Jar (music)
-Bambu (music)
-Rocky Rivera and DJ Roza (music)
-DJ Ant and DJ WaxStyles (music)
-alfie numeric (visual arts)
